I tell a good story.

Does Your Website Tell Your Story?

“Marketing is no longer about the stuff that you make but about the stories you tell” – Seth Godin

You’ve studied the facts, figures, and crunched the numbers. You’ve scrimped and saved. You’ve followed your instincts. You believe you can help people. And, that’s why you’re in business today. It’s time to tell your story.

  • Who are you?
  • What do you stand for?
  • How did your business come about? Why?
  • What purpose does it serve?
  • What do you do well?
  • How will you help others? And…
  • What do others have to say?

Websites tell a visual and personal brand story. These are the stories you’ll tell. You’ll be natural and authentic. You’ll be helpful. Your personality will shine through. You’ll connect to people on a human level because that’s what we all want. But, you’ll also be friendly to the robots… the spiders and other creepy crawlies that affect your ranking. Therefore, your story will be shared far, wide, and most importantly to those whom you wrote it for. That’s what website and blog writing is about. It’s not difficult, but it’s not for everyone.

I have varied personal interests, each of which I have created a website for… I’m currently at three, trying not to make it four. Naturally, I write my own content. However, it is a limited budget and sheer stubbornness (in making WordPress do as I wish) that drove them forward. I’m by no means a web development expert but I do have some experience using WordPress themes and plugins to build my own websites, including the one you are currently visiting. I deploy SEO strategies (I’ve formally studied in this, I confess) and write blog articles with the hopes of being helpful to my specific audiences.
